CYCLING SKILLS CAMP WITH JOHN HOWARD -- “WORLD’S FASTEST CYCLIST” -- SET FOR SAN DIEGO
Four-day program for all cycling levels begins Feb. 27
WILTON, CT -- Cycling legend John Howard, the three-time Olympian who set the bicycle speed record of 152.2 MPH, will hold his annual cycling camp in San Diego from Feb. 27 – Mar. 2, 2008. The program will include skills training, class sessions and long group rides in the San Diego countryside, where the winter temperature averages in the perfect mid-60s.
“This is the perfect tune up for the cycling season,” said Howard. “We’ll help you get faster and more powerful, plus you’ll learn valuable technical riding skills.”
While daily rides in the beautiful San Diego back country are the camp’s centerpiece, each day will offer help in becoming a better overall cyclist. Attendees will receive personalized guidance on nutrition and diet, conditioning, cross-training, bike fitting and more.
The camp is open to serious cyclists of all levels, and attendance is limited to 15.
The $1,025 enrollment fee ($925 until Jan. 26) includes full breakfasts and dinners. Lodging is available at a special rate. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation. More information is available at www.johnhowardsports.com
